During installation I received a security message similar to the following:

Untrusted application;

Application not signed;

Source not determined; or,

Application is requesting recording capability.

What should I do?

Respond positively to all such messages, typically by selecting “Yes” or “Install”.

When tuning, I always get an “Allow application to record” prompt. How do I prevent this?

Most mobile phones allow you to manually increase permissions from “ask always” to “ask once”. With the higher setting, this prompt will only appear the first time you record. You set this by highlighting MoltoMobile in your games or applications list and then selecting a menu item (typically “menu” or “info”) with a list of options for MoltoMobile which should include “Permissions” or “Security”. Upgrade all the security settings you see there, especially those relating to multimedia or user data.

When I tune, why don’t I see a nice intonation graph?

First, make sure MoltoMobile is set to the pitch you are playing. You can hear the pitch by selecting the left button, or “Play Tone” from the menu. MoltoMobile will graph your pitch as long as you are within 3% of true pitch - roughly a quarter of a tone.
